What is Tickshield
Tickshield is our strongest and longest-lasting formula, making it an ideal choice for hikers, campers, and other outdoorsmen. Tickshield dries quickly and will not stain.
All-natural and non-toxic, Tickshield is safe for people of all ages and medium to large size pets. Tickshield kills and repels fleas, ticks, mosquitos, bed bugs, mites, ants, chiggers, flies, moths, and more.
How to Use Cedarcide Original
Spray directly on skin, clothing, and gear, avoiding your eyes and mouth. Use hands to apply to your face. Apply as needed or every 4-6 hours. Reapply after swimming or getting wet.
For Children: Adults should use hands to apply to children. Apply sparingly, avoiding eyes, mouth, and hands.
Lightly mist coat or apply with hands. Massage into coat. Cover legs, underbelly, around ears and tail. Use hands to apply to face, avoiding eyes and mouth. Apply as needed or every 5-7 days.
For Cats: Apply sparingly using hands or the Cedarcide Feat + Tick Brush. If sensitivity occurs, discontinue use and bathe.
Use on doorways, window frames, pet areas, carpeting, furniture, and other indoor spaces. Lightly mist or apply using a cloth. Do not use in food preparation areas. When spraying furniture or clothing, test on a small area first.
Exercise caution, floors and other surfaces may become slick. Apply as needed to kill and repel bugs, or weekly for prevention. To clean, use soap and water.

Spray directly on skin, clothing, and gear to kill and repel insects & many other pests. Use hands to apply to face-do not spray directly. Avoid contact with eyes. Use before and after outdoor activities to kill and repel mosquitos, ticks, and other biting pests. Reapply as needed.
Tickshield should only be used on medium to large size pets. We do not recommend using Tickshield on cats.
Spray a light mist directly on fur, on a brush, or spray onto hands and massage into coat until solution reaches the skin. Use hands to apply to face-do not spray directly. Be sure to apply all over, including armpits, in between toes, and on and around ears and tail. Use on pets before and after outdoor activities to kill and repel pests like fleas & ticks. Reapply as needed.
Spray as needed to kill and repel insects in all areas of the home: including flooring, counters, furniture, doorways, window frames, and pet areas. Tickshield dries clear and will not stain.
How Does It Work?
Insect Dehydration
Bugs are sensitive to moisture loss, which is bad news for those that come into contact with cedarwood oil. Cedarwood oil leaches moisture from insects and other bugs, leaving them dried out and eventually dead.
Pheromone Disruption
Bugs use pheromones to navigate, search for food, and regulate their bodily functions. Cedarwood oil disrupts these pheromones, disorienting them, repelling them, and ultimately killing them.
