Love this

"Easy way to brush cedarcide through my dogs double coat!"

We love this brush!

"Our big goofy Labradoodle hates being sprayed with bug spray but he loves being brushed. This is like a mini spa treatment for him and it seems to apply the perfect amount. The cedar smell doesn't make him sneeze or act crazy like the toxic tick sprays we have used. I'm so happy to find a natural alternative. This brush is genius."

Great invention!

"Absolutely loving this brush ! It distributes the oil in my dogs coat very well. And they love to be brushed with it . Normally my dogs don’t like it when they know that I want to spray or rub the Cedarcide oil on them , but with using the pet brush they are clueless ! Thank you Cedarcide !"

The perfect replacement for those horrible chemical pharmaceuticals

"It’s absolutely wonderful to have a natural herbal product to use as an insecticide for myself, my kittens, and my dog! I gave up bug spray and chemical pharmaceuticals for my animals years ago with nothing to replace it for years. I just didn’t use anything and picked the ticks off my dog when she’d get them. Now I can give my animals loving rub downs with the Cedarcide multiple times a week and protect them from parasites. I’m so happy to have found Cedarcide."

Great Product & Costumer service

"Great costumer service! I had problems with delivery. A costumer service rep, named Whit, was super helpful & responsive. The product is the only thing that keeps ticks off of my pups & doesn’t leave any residue. Highly recommend."

Q&A

Hello. After a couple of years in storage, I pulled out the flea and tick brush to use on my cat. However, after application, I read on the box that the brush should be stored empty. I actually stored the brush with a pretty good amount of oil which has now turned yellow. Either I missed that detail years ago or I figured it would be a hassle to empty out and refill the brush as I was using it daily back then. I still have a spray bottle of cedarcide from that time and the oil is clearer. Should I replace the oil in the brush? And do I have to empty out the brush if I plan to use it daily to a couple of times a week? Thank you for your time.
Hi Koichi! I would recommend cleaning out that old oil out of the brush and then replacing it with new product! For using it daily I would try to rinse out as much of that product as you can with soap and warm water!
Can I use for fleas and ticks on my 41/2 month old toy Aussie
Hi Brenda! For smaller dogs our Original is the best against fleas, ticks and more!!
Is RBI’s harmful to pollinators and beneficial insects? Also we have birds who visit our feeders and our yard would it cause any issues for them!
Hi Cayce. Our products are designed to not deter pollinators from treated yards, nor does it harm them when they do so. We recommend that customers spray (https://cedarcide.com/collections/lawn-garden/products/pco-choice) early in the morning or late in the evening when they are less active to avoid direct contact from the spray. Even the water pressure alone would harm them. Using as directed in those times of day when they are less active is going to be just fine!
I have an Indoor cat and she is 6 months old. Since cats groom themselves, is this product safe for them to ingest?
Yes, all our bug spray formulas are pet-safe. The only product we recommend not using on pets under 20lbs is our Tickshield spray. It is still not toxic, it is just that for our smaller pet friends, the aroma can be too irritating for their smaller respiratory systems and they will typically make it clear that they are not happy being sprayed by it. To answer your question about ingestion though, licking/grooming and then ingesting the type of cedar oil we use is not a problem! We use cedar oil sources from the Ashe Juniper variety which is pet and human safe while being very effective against the bugs! A pet would have to ingest a very large amount of our most concentrated cedar oil product (our Outdoor Bug Control) to have a reaction and that would be a digestive reaction (and likely a big mess), at worst. You can use the product worry free!
Can you use this on outdoor cats?
You sure can, Debbie! :)
