Worried about viruses, bacteria, and other dangerous germs, but not sure how to keep them out of your home?
You’re not alone. It’s been a weird year, one where we’ve all had to take our cleaning and sanitizing routines up a notch. Unfortunately, finding the correct tools for the job is not easy. Some products clean but don’t sanitize or disinfect. Others disinfect but don’t clean. Some are safe for hard surfaces but not safe for soft areas like carpeting and furniture. It can all be very overwhelming.
At Cedarcide, we’ve struggled with these very same questions. We’ve had customers approaching us every day asking for a trusted solution to help keep COVID-19 out of their homes and off surfaces like tables, countertops, handles, and in their bathrooms, kitchens, vehicles and more.
After careful research and personal use, we found a solution we trust: Sani-Spritz. Read on to learn how to use this incredibly effective 1-step disinfectant cleaner to help protect your family, pets, and home from COVID-19, the common flu, and other dangerous germs, bacteria, mold and fungi.*
Ensuring the surfaces and items in our households, vehicles, office spaces and more remain free of COVID-19 and other germs is one of the biggest stressors we’re all experiencing right now. Thankfully you don’t have to worry about that anymore. Here’s how to clean, disinfect, and kill viruses, fungi, mold and mildew in just 1 quick and easy step:
Spray 6–8 inches from hard, nonporous surfaces and items like tables, countertops, sinks, handles, steering wheels, and appliances until they’re thoroughly wet. Allow the spray to soak for at least 10 minutes. Then simply wipe the item dry with a cloth or allow it to air dry. To clean and prevent mildew and mold, spray every 7 days or more often as needed.
If the area or item you’re looking to clean is visibly dirty with grime, pre-clean it before disinfecting with Sani-Spritz. As a precaution, rinse all surfaces and items with clean water that come into contact with Sani-Spritz, and avoid using the spray on utensils, glassware and dishes.
Spot cleaning and sanitizing soft areas like furniture, fabrics, carpets, clothing, and more is super easy with Sani-Spritz.
Just hold the bottle 6–8 inches from the surface or item and give it a good thorough spray. Allow the spray to soak for at least 5 minutes—And you’re done! The product will air dry from there, no need to physically dry it with a cloth. Clean visibly dirty items and surfaces with soap and water before sanitizing with Sani-Spritz. For delicate items and collectibles, test on a small area first just in case.
If you’re a pet parent like us, Sani-Spritz can be an extremely helpful tool for deep cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting your pet supplies—such as crates, stables, food & water bowls, leashes, collars, and more.
Because we want to be extra careful around our pet babies, start by removing them from the space before cleaning. Next, scrub your chosen surface or item with soap or detergent and rinse with clean water. Then, thoroughly saturate the item you need to clean, sanitize, and disinfect with Sani-Spritz. Allow the item to soak for at least 10 minutes. For best results, submerge soft items like collars, leashes, and halters in Sani-Spritz for at least 10 minutes.
Finally, thoroughly scrub, rinse, ventilate, and dry crates, kennels, stalls, pens, stables, and other enclosures before using them again. Similarly, scrub, rinse, and dry soft items and surfaces that come into contact with food or water before using them again. Do not use any of these items or spaces until they have been aired out and are completely dry.
*Sani-Spritz kills SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in 3 minutes on hard, nonporous surfaces.
Note: Unlike the rest of our lineup, Sani-Spritz is not a product that we make ourselves. Instead, it’s a product we searched out and vetted in response to our customers’ request for a proven cleaner, sanitizer, and disinfectant against COVID-19. Because Sani-Spritz is a tougher, inorganic disinfectant cleaner, we suggest wearing eye protection and using it in a well ventilated area just to be extra cautious.
