Our popular Cedar Granules are a 100% natural approach to protect your lawn, home, and family from harmful bugs. Here are 5 of our favorites:
A layer of Cedar Granules spread along your home’s foundation and fence line creates a powerful defense against fleas, ants, mites, and other biting insects.
Adding a handful of granules to your potted plants every few months is a simple way to keep them free of annoying pests like spider mites.
Spreading Cedar Granules throughout your lawn & garden protects it from damaging insects without harsh chemicals.
Hanging a sock full of Cedar granules in your closet acts like a cedar chest. Bye-bye moths!
Placing a few handfuls of granules inside your dog’s bed lining will help deter fleas, mites, mosquitoes, and more.
Will the pelets kill and repel fungus knats from potted house plants?
Great question! They will help repel but not actively kill. These two blogs will help you kill and repel all the most common household pests: https://www.cedarcide.com/bugs-pest-control/how-to-get-rid-of-bugs-in-houseplants/

I live in the woods and spiders are a huge issue.,I know they are ‘beneficial’ but my house and windows get covered in webs. Will the granules help?
For spiders, i’d go with our lawn spray, PCO Choice: https://www.cedarcide.com/product/pco-choice/
I use the cedar based “tea bags” to help keep mice out of the drawers in my shop. Will these granules help keep them out of my greenhouse? I understand that your products do not list mice so thought I would ask if that is another viable use.
Great question!
We do not have testing for rodents so we can’t make that claim but our customers have reported that it helps keep them away 🙂
Question: Will granules and other Cedarcide products hurt bees and butterflies?
Fantastic question, Giulie!
As long as you don’t apply our products directly to beneficial insects, they will not harm or deter them 🙂
